    They look like they were cut at a 60 degree angle. But she could recut them wiht a 2 1/2" 45 degree dianond shape template , then a great lone star would really turn out great. If not doing that, then she would get a 6 point star it looks like. But a nice lone star would be great for these diamond shapes, but there's the problem of picing for a square or a rectangle quilt wiht the 6 point star. I have one started and never finished it for the same reason. Not that I mastered the "Y" seamd I should go ahead and finish it. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

    When I find treasures like this at a thrift store I always wonder who donated it. Was it the kids of the quilter who thought they were just scraps? Was it her husband who didn't know either? I have a friend who is the executor for the disposal or should I say for the distribution of her quilts and supplies when she passes. Her friend didn't want her husband and kids to just get rid of them.

    I am glad that you will give these a good home.
