    I have to say that I was so engrossed with the beautiful little quilt and the precious little girl I did not even notice the background. You can tell how much I am impressed with the grandaughter's project. Such a sweet story. Thanks for sharing this with us.

    She and her quilt are both beautiful.
    It is so good to see little ones taking an interest in sewing.
    So many schools now, are eliminating Home Economics from their curriculums. They are going to the more politically correct " Culinary Arts". If we don't pass down the sewing and quilting, it will all become lost arts.
    Give her a hug and congratulations for a job VERY well done!

    How sweet! I like how you put the sewing machine on the ironing board so it could be adjusted to her height.

    I was getting ready to post the same thing - I tis hard tolook at the quilt in a way because her face is so cute that you notice it most!
