    Your mom is AWESOME. It looks like you need to set aside whatever project you've been working on and start on her quilt. I don't know anything about hand work but this looks like an heirloom project to me. I can't wait to see your finished quilt(s).

    What a great legacy! LOVE the silk! I have a drawer full of these I work on occasionally and never thought of using fabrics other than cotton! Maybe silk neckties?

    What a sweetheart your mom is. They are perfect and she's obviously enjoyed doing them. So pretty. Can't wait to see what you do with (some of) them. ;)
