    How lovely! My grandmother made quilts for all her grandchildren in her 70s and 80s too. She would give the quilts to them when they got married. She called me up one day when I was about 27 and said "I have your quilt ready." I said, "but Grandma, I'm not getting married." She replied, "Yes, but I don't know how much longer I'll be around." I got a lovely green and white appliqued double bed quilt. The last time I saw Grandma was at my wedding - when I was 31. She was very ill with cancer and died soon after. I really treasure that quilt.
