Can I ask your formula? Looks like it was 4 inch blocks on the front and a 12 inch on the back? Is that right? I think it's beautiful and you've given me a great idea for another QAYG. I did two for granddaughters some time ago and I love the process. Don't mind the strips at all, I make them part of the design.

I really like the QAYG method but I don't like the look of the sashing part, so am going to try again only just sewing the sqs.
