    So my son decided to give this quilting thing a try. He picked out the fabric and started sewing. Halfway..."this is kinda boring mom. I mean it's cool that you and Pippa like it, but it's not for me. I'll finish it but..." He's sweet, and he did finish the top. Oh and you guys were right about my 6yr old. She already has been sorting through my stash! She's got the bug, big time!

    Please tell your son that I admire his tenacity in the face of boredom. Speaks well of his character already. And tell him that he did a better job than me on his first quilt. Very nice.
