    Omigosh, this is adorable. When I was a little girl, my father's airedale saved me from a kidnapper. Although I'm no fan of dogs in general (I've been bitten three times), I have soft spot for Airedales.

    So that it would keep its shape and not put to much strain on the felt I made a cushion pad and filled it with sawdust - as suggested by Angela. And here it is, I am really pleased with it.
    Its quite large so I don't lose it.
