    I agree with Jan. It looks like a log cabin to me . How fitting that the lady of the house has her log cabin (assumption here) as a backdrop to the picture.

    I can see the log cabin is possible and so does the rail fence looks possible too.

    Doesn't life look hard back then! I bet they knew where their kids were each night!

    What a neat idea something lasting. Does anyone have the quilt? Sorry I don't know what pattern it is. Do you know where your family lived in the past? I love learning about family members. Do you watch that show Who do you think you are? Sue

    No one ever smiled in the old pictures...they were told not too...
