    Default My Auction Find

This is the antique quilt I purchased at a little country auction in Douglas, Alabama. There was another bidder interested in the quilt so I ended up paying $15 for it. It is hand embroidered and hand quilted and is twin size. I think I got a real treasure. There is a small hole in the back of the quilt. I am going to enter it into the antique division of out quilt show this month. I just love it.

Wow! What a lovely find! We have a 1929 A-Model which my father-in-law restored many years ago. It is destined to our youngest son whenever he figures out a place at his home in Raleigh to keep it. My son loves the old things and would love this quilt.
