Love your quilt. I volunteered at the library with a young lady with autism. I didn't know she was autistic so at first I thought she was just very shy. I kept talking to her and finally hit on a topic that interested her. It still wasn't until 2 months later that I learned that she was autistic. I mentioned that I volunteered with the Special Olympics one year and she mentioned that she competed in S.O. in gymnastics.

    Unhappy What's the catch?

To receive this pattern for free, did you have to actually buy something? The site made me enter a cc# then declined the transaction because there was no actual price to charge.

    TIA.

beautiful quilt. My son works with autism people. He has 3 clients. He takes them out to the mall, restaurants, dr. appt, activities, movies ect, and...he gets paid very well for doing it. He loves his clients, and enjoys his work. For some reason, only new york has this program.

How cute. My sister has a grandchild (that she raised) with autism. He has grown into a fine, sensitive and loving young man.

Love your quilt, and especially love the symbolism behind it.
