My Avatar - "Spinning 4 Patch" by Request
#1
I received a PM asking about my avatar..
Apparently someone likes it!
They wanted to know what pattern I used, etc..
I call it the "Spinning 4 Patch."
Well, I designed it myself but have yet to finish it completely.
It's made entirely from scraps, with the exception of the long border strips.
Playing darks and lights against one another, the 4 patches are made from 2.5" squares.
The blocks themselves are 6"square.
Not knowing another way at the time, the half rectangles were a pain to figure out, but I managed.
I'm thinking I'd rather send this one out to have done on a LA so as for now.. it is packed away for that day to arrive.
Posted here are my notes/design/quilt top on my design wall.

Awesome! That is so neat. I have lots of scraps. I should try that. Seems like the more I use, the more I have. I just finished 3 scrappy quilts and it doesn't seem like I've made much progress. Thanks for the pattern.
