    I stared at it long and close and figured out the HST arrangement. It does look hard when you see the finished quilt but with your instructions I think I will give it a try. Thank you again so much for your help. crosequilt

    I had to look 14 times before I could see the HSTs, but yes, there they are!!! Great job. Clever!!

    I just want to apologize for not being clearer about the HST abbreviation. Sometimes I use these abbreviations and forget that not everyone is familiar with them. I'll try to be more careful in the future.

    Thanks everyone for the comments. No longer sure of the block size...probably 5x5 inch finished. I gave the quilt as a gift as soon as it was done.I didn't have a pattern....it was just half-square triangles and the alternate 4x4 inch square.
