    Love it - is there a "sparkle" in some of the fabric of some flowers? Adds such a great sparkle & interest to it.

    I did applique with a zigzag, then when you cover the edges with hot ribbon you can't see the applique threads. The flowers were quilted with Sulky Sliver metallic #145-8040. It seems to pick up the color of the fabric and just sparkle.

    The sparkle is the sliver metallic thread that it was quilted with. Also there are beads in the center of the largest flower(peach and green)
