The name of the pattern is October Sky. It is put out by Time to Quilt by Cathy Wierzbicki. Thanks for all the nice comments. It is my favorite quilt .

very nice. i think we can all agree that with the canada geese and maple leaves that quilt would be much more at home here in canada, and i would be more than willing to take it in as a foster quilt. hehehe.. (:
