    Thank you so much everyone, The pattern is Lightning Strike by Chris Timmins, who is an Australian designer http://www.christimmins.com/online-s....browse/6.html
    It took around 3 months to piece, (I had only been quilting for around 6 months and was my second quilt) It then sat in my cupboard for 2 1/2 years until I thought I had the guts to quilt the monster, that took around 3 weeks (lucky DH is understanding as I took over the dining table to help support the weight of the quilt).
    Bargellos are not as hard as they look, I would encourage anyone to give them a go.
