Default My batik log cabin quilt.

A week before Mothers day I saw a quilt on Connecting Threads site that called to me. It had a stained glass effect that I have wanted to try. Was made with batiks, my favorite fabrics and had lots of negative space to work on my FMQ. Also received a gift card to Connecting Threads from my DD the same day. It was a sign. Just finished it and love it. After working with so many pinks and purples for quilts for my DGDs this was so nice to do. I had to share it. My FMQ still needs some work (I used a variegated thread for it) but I'm happy with it.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. The backing matches it perfectly and the colors are stupendous.

I can see why you love this log cabin pattern and fabrics, I do too! I love the black between each log which really makes each log special. Wonderful quilt, wonderfully quilted, congratulations. Thank you for sharing the pattern and your pictures. And the binding you chose to use, so great....
