    It looks nice. Brown in not one of my fav colors, but this looks good and it's the color she wanted!!!

    I think it looks really rich. Like you took strips of all kinds of beautiful and exotic wood. I love it.

    I think it looks great, you did an excellent job on it. But I can see why you would want to meander into perhaps pastels, fluorescents, anything but brown for a while. :) I'm sure your mom loves it and it's great that you made it for her.

    This is NOT an ugly quilt!! Brown is usually not on my radar, blue is my fav, but I DO love rich wood grain furniture and floors and that is what this reminds me of! The design and color composition is superb. I understand that you would not want to work with brown for a while, but it really is an awesome quilt!

    It's a beautiful quilt... even if it is in brown. :wink: I don't like brown a lot either in quilts though I do love some I've seen made from Japanese Taupes that I love and I just got a collection in brown that is kind of like that with greys.

    I'm not a brown lover either BUT....I really love the pattern.
