I like it too. I don't mind the brown at all. I bet your mom loves it too.

I really like the quilt. Great job on something you didn't like. :)

My DH would think that was made just for him. All his fave colors. LOL.
Actually the quilt is really nice and the colors do make the pattern stand out. It is not ugly at all but really very pretty.

I don't think it's ugly. Your mom should love it.

    Shame on you!

There is nothing ugly about that quilt--it feels
very calming, soothing and "natural" looking to
    me......ahhhh...... :)

Jenell - what an ugly brown quilt, I'm sorry for you having to work with those hideous fabrics! OK, is that better?

BTW I don't mean it - I LOVE it, I think it looks really warm and comforting AND I love anything stringy so love the pattern too! :D But I do get where you're coming from - a few years ago, I made a king size for my mother in yellow and various florals that she chose and I thought were pukey - I was glad to sew the final stitch and get it out of the house but she loves it! And no I HAVEN'T got a pic - I couldn't bear to take one! But I vowed never to let anyone pick their own fabrics again - mean or what?

UGLY????? No way. Yeah it has alot of browns, and I can see why you don't want to do another brown one, BUT it is just beautiful; I think you did an awesome job!
