My SIL had to give up her embroidery, knitting and quilting because of her and hubby's health so I HAD to help her out by buying her KenQuilt and frame. I won't tell you the price, I don't want to get hate mail! While in Amarillo at her shop, I also was absolutely drooling over her baby Hand Crank Singer. Yep, she also has a new home right next to my PC so I can just look at her and pet her every now and then. The closest I can date her is 1914 - made in Ireland. She has a rounded wooden case that's in perfect condition.
Along with the KenQuilt she sold me most of a roll of warm and white for $40.00 and 84 huge spools of threads for $40 so I got the blue light special of the year. After they were loaded in our trailer, Hubby wanted to hurry and leave before she changed her mind! He's even excited about them. Now just to teach HIM how to do the quilting for me.

You know SIL must have loved and enjoyed those very much. You have given her comfort knowing they have a happy and loving home where they will be kept warm, dry and 'well fed'. Your a good sister-in-law. Enjoy.

She might not be able to enjoy them herself personally, but she made sure they had a wonderful new home where they will be loved, used and appreciated  Enjoy

And it might not be such a bad thing to teach hubby how to use the LA then he can finish what you start
