I am having a tough time getting this quilt done as i am not a fan of Red . In fact it hate it so this quilt is not my favor but it is for my Son and Dtr in law and they like it so i will finish it . It will be between a queen and double size. I still have to put black borders in between the rows across so it is not all sewn together but gives you a idea of the nightmare RED quilt .. i am making

My quilt for Son and Dtr in law in the makings

Love it. Probably one of the coolest black, red and white quilts I have seen. Sorry you don't like it. That makes it hard to finish.

I know it is hard to work on something you don't like but it is looking good.

It's looking great...agree it's hard to work on when you aren't crazy about it. Maybe work on it each day for 30 minutes...and then switch to a project you really like as a reward for working on it. That way it will be finished before you know it. Please post a pic of it when you've finished (I happen to love red, black, and white quilts!)

Red is the sign of purity in China and brides wear red not white there. It is also considered the royal color above purple. It is a happy color on the color meanings chart. Maybe this will help change your feelings about red as you work. The quilt is going to be lovely when you finish.
