My BOM
#1
Last December my LQS had this quilt hanging in the shop as the 2011 BOM. I fell in love with it and decided that I must do it (and of course make it KING size). This quilt led to a facelift for my bedroom. DH and I removed painted wainscoating, repaired all the walls, painted, new freshly stained moulding, new carpet, etc. We also made an upholtered headboard to match the quilt and I made curtains and a bedskirt.
This was a great experience as I learned how to use power tools that I have never used before and hubby and I got to spend some quality time together. Two of our cats were instrumental in our success. They are such good supervisors.
I am so glad that the quilt is finished and on the bed just in time for the cold winter weather that will be coming soom.

WOWWWW...you should be busting buttons!!! I chuckled... you have two "CATS OF THE MONTH" too! I SINCERELY love everyone's pet photos when they are hanging around the new quilts. Even my dog has to walk across a quilt on the floor a couple times just to give it a test drive.
I think you're color choices are surperb...and your carpenter skills are AWESOME TOO!
