    Super cool - I was looking at a similar pattern and wondered about mixing fabrics - yours look awesome!

    Thanks to all for the nice comments and the great idea's for another name!!
    The reason I thought the solid brown wasn't good was about the quality not the colour.'The fabric was kind of stiff.
    So the batting was, normally I use hobbs 80/20
    The combination of the stiff fabric and the bad batting made it very difficult to do the quilting.
    The vases with flowers were indeed fussy cuts.
    Hihihihi ...and the doggies are strictly forbidden to use my quilts

    Oooooo....diamonds! I am currently working on a quilt with diamonds and they are definitely a challenge. I am deeply impressed by your precision, and I like "My Brown One" alot!

    looks sort of like the Cactus Wreath Quilt star pattern. but more colorful
