    Very nice! It's good sometimes to be able to finish a project relatively quickly and easily. I enjoy looking for cheater panels at fabric stores, but don't find them very often.

    I like the looks of it. Lots of work and just real homey feeling. I never work with checks and plaids but after seeing yours come out so good, I may find myself looking for new fabric (in checks and plaids)

    Hey Topper1, beautiful quilt. I also made a quilt using this fabric but it was almost 20 yrs ago! Is this fabric still available out there?

    I had that fabric too, and I still love it! I cut the squares apart and appliqued them onto a plain shirt/jacket.

    Your quilt is really cute. Great job on the fmq---
