Oh, thank you so much! I put pictures on my Facebook page, but my friends really don't "get" how much work this was. So thank you all!! I know you "get" it!

I am very proud of this one!

Wow!!! This quilt is really nice. It looks like a very large quilt, What size is it?

Your quilt is adorable! You mentioned your corners, they are beautiful, here in Alaska the judges require the corners to be stitched in the seam (the diagonal) not sure what your local judges expect. You might want to ask your LQS. The back is cool too. Did you design it?

I haven't measured after quilting, so I am sure it's a bit smaller, but it was 92" x 106" before. I think that puts it in between a queen and king. It would fit a queen bed better.

Thanks for the info! Like I said, I doubt this will go into any shows, but in the future, who knows? I might make a better one! I will be joining a quilt guild this summer and I bet if I asked around there, or even at the LQS they would be able to tell me what the judges around here want.

I pretty much designed it, although the cherry itself was from a Good Housekeeping quilt book. The book had it in a '30's repro quilt, with a completely different setting. I posted a sort of guideline of how I made it in the thread I started when it became a quilt top. I tried to kind of walk people through it if they ever wanted to make one. Just look at my profile and it is under the topics I have posted as Cherry Surprise Quilt.

Here is a link to see a quilt made from the original pattern. I changed it quite a bit.
