I will try to answer them all here!
    It is not my design.
I learned to a Spanish quilter called Belén ir her blog Belén Patchwork (http://belenpatchwork.blogspot.com/).
She did the chicken TUTORIAL on her blog in these entries: Part 1 (http://belenpatchwork.blogspot.com/2...a-1-parte.html) and Part 2 (http://belenpatchwork.blogspot.com/2...a-2-parte.html).
They can learn the technique well Almazuelas per picture.
If anything is unclear, they may ask, I did my own photos.
    A big hug!

Site address Gladys gave doesn't work so I did some jiggery-pokery with the http.

Here is the link to BELEN'S site where you can view and hopefully make out the instructions to make the Almazuelas. Go here: http://belenpatchwork.blogspot.com/2...terminado.html or better yet: http://belenpatchwork.blogspot.com/s...rial%20gallina

Love that chicky. I made a log cabin chix several years ago out of homespuns. Yours is WAY cuter....think I'll try your method out of wild fabric? Thanks for the link. :):)
