    They are quite popular in NC and TN. We have been putting them for the last 12-14 years. Even building in small towns have them on their outside walls. I love seeing them.

    In our travels we have seen many barn quilts. I always get so excited when I see them. My DH doesn't get it. It just makes me smile to know that there is a quilt person somewhere in the neighborhood no matter where I travel. His reaction is "meh."
