I have the Viking Designer I USB & it's not supposed to be oiled by the customer. Read the manual thoroughly to make sure & take it to the dealer right away if you have problems. These are great machines. Happy Sewing/Quilting.

Oh my what a deal and you just helped me. I was looking for a quick solution to finding a cheap used (or new) machine. I never thought of Craigslist and I just went there, they are all over the place. Thanks.
