    I am finishing a class in Machine Piecing, here is the lap quilt that came out of it. Still have borders to add - next week.

    Thank you, I am pretty new to quilting. These blocks were chosen by the instructor. Had a few problems with 1/4 inch seams, got to know the seam ripper really well!
    The borders go on next week. A small black one then a larger one of the lava print fabric - orange, red and yellow.
    I am happy with the result.
    Next will be learning how to machine quilt it. I have the gypsy holders - got them from Quilt in a Day. Looking forward to trying them out.
