Those borders are not wavy they are down right curly! You really must remove and correct. No amount of quilting can fix it as it is. I have quilted "out" a wavy border on the L/A by sewing slower on a bit higher speed..the extra stitches will suck up some fabric, but on that one....NOT. It is really to striking to leave it that way.....

Very pretty, that border looks difficult.

I think there's too much "waving" for any stitch to work it all in. Since that quilt will be part of your future, I would advise removing the borders and resewing them on so they don't wave. That way you can use your yellow quilting on the border and it will look great. Do it while it's fairly easy to fix, or you'll always be unsatisfied with it.

I have not read all the replies, but agree with most of them that suggest redoing the black border. Something else you might want to consider is after the black is of, steaming, no pressing or ironing but steaming the bias of the triangles may help to reshape them. Another suggestion is to cut your black fabric on the lengthwise grain of the fabric, this has practically no stretch. One more suggestion a variegated thread rather than a solid.

Beautiful, Beautiful quilt and border, I am sure what ever you decide to do, it will be Outstanding.
