    pvc pipe works well too and you can cut them to the length that is just right for your height and add caps to the bottom

    Our guild uses pvc pipe to raise the table to a higher level, we have 2 tables that we put together to pin quilts on, it works really good, if the bed risers are just a little to short give it a try. It seems the pvc gives the tables a little more stability too. Saves a lot on back pain.

    I use lengths of PVC pipe and it works very well, nice and stable too.

    thats what I did too-the table was too low otherwise-used my old glass topped picnic table when we moved in with the m-i-l
