Menards has these tables cheaper than Sams, I had to buy two for DH 80th birthday party this summer.

Bed risers are a great invention. I even have my sofa on one as I have trouble getting up and down even with knee replacement.

My 6' work table is elevated on bed risers, also. My clear totes of fabric are stacked under this table. The end of the table is toward the doorway so isn't actually an eye sore to anyone coming into or passing my sewing room. Shame on me for even thinking a stash of fabric can be an eye sore. My cutting table is the top of a 34" tall VCR storage cabinet where my 24/36" cutting mat is always ready. It's perfect for me!

For me the table is quite stable. Love it.

Great idea. I took my table and extended the legs with PVC pipes and and surprisingly the table is still steady and my back doesn't hurt anymore.

If bed risers can't be found, PVC pipe fits snugly over the table legs, can select the height needed.

Excellent idea. I'm tall and like higher tables to cut on.
