    That is a great quilt-is your dad retired Army? I figure he must be since you did the Army Star block and used colors that look like camo. Bet your Dad loved it!

    Yes, I used the block pattern on quilterscache.com. He did really like his quilt. That's my dad's hand holding the quilt on the left side.

    He was in the Army during Vietnam but has recently been going through his Army papers getting ready for retirement benefits. He was injured and has to find all his documentation, etc.

    I'm glad we were only using the tarps to cover up sand for the pool we're putting in and not for a hurricane!!
