    I also had that exact machine years ago - and when I recently saw one for sale in a thrift store complete with a cabinet for $50, I tugged it home - "as a backup?" It's easy, simple and should be fabulous for her to learn on. :D

    No, that table was found at goodwill and it was empty. I may get my hubby to fix it so her machine will fit in it.
    Or you can find her a cheap vintage Singer sewing machine for that cabinet, like a 15-91-that would be way cool!

    WONDERFUL!!!! I wish I could've gotten MY daughter as interested in sewing!!! She's 36 and asked me last summer how to tie a knot in her thread..........sigh! It's not that I didn't show her....she just had NO interest!

    She is so sweet with her intent look. Bet she soon has to move those critters off the shelf for more quilt space! Good for her starting a lifetime avocation.
