Ditto! I'm so glad your daughter is carrying on the tradition.

Love it - think I will use that pattern for my granddaughter. We are spending the weekend together and I thought I would try and get her interested in quilting. She is 12 but has never sewn anything. She does love crafts though so maybe she will enjoy quilting.

Too soon to tell about my granddaughter yet, but this past summer, I gave my goddaughter a small 'Snap Sack' quilt kit for her birthday and we worked on it together when I visited in July. She did most of the sewing, I the cutting, quilting and binding. Only 18" square (Log Cabin), but big enought for her American Girl dolls. She very proudly showed it off to her parents and her Gramma Pat.
