Is the extra fabric for the end cuts and then the border? How much to finish the end of the rows?

Tutt, your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! Did you use a specific fabric collection, or did you select fabrics from different lines that worked perfectly together? If you used a collection, would you mind telling us which one? These colors are perfect for a gift quilt I want to make.

Grandma Cindy, if you use a layer cake you don't get enough dresden shapes needed, so the extra is used for getting the additional shapes. I used a 1/2 yard to cut my bias binding in the dark brown.

RitaVil, I used Moda's Pure collection.

I found instructions online at allpeoplequilt.com just search for Hello Yellow! On the second page where the blue option is shown there is a download for the project.

Grandma Cindy, I ALWAYS buy way more fabric that I need so I bought 4 or 5 extra half yards of different fabrics, but I'm going to make another quilt with the same fabrics. Hopefully the instructions on the website above will help you.
