    I just wanted to share my step-daughters first quilt. She is 15 years old and she kinda watched me make the 2 kids quilts and then wanted to try one herself.. Which of course I encouraged.. I did machine quilt it for her and I did the binding. However other than a little direction on the top she did it herself.. Sorry if the pictures aren't to good, I used my cell..

    She did an excellent job! I wish I could get my daughters interested in sewing. My oldest loves quilt and handmade things but isn't interested in learning. My youngest will be lucky if she learns to even thread a needle some day. LOL!

    That is such gorgeous work for a teenager & love the bright colors. You've got talent will be looking for her. Tell her she's off to a great start.
