Now, I know that, traditionally, a "Madison House" quilt has trees in it but my DD likes "Attic's Windows" and the fact that there's a quilt that shares her name. So, I put the two together. She likes Cinderella mostly but also likes a few of the other princesses so I put them on the balconies thanks to some fussy cut pieces. My Maddie is turning 9 this Saturday and loves fabric almost as much as her Mama so when she was going through my stash last month, picking out her favorites, I took notice and after she had gone to bed, that pile disappeared. From those fabrics I made the houses. She also loves butterflies so I appliqued a few in there.

    The whole quilt.

More imaginative than any quilts I've seen for young ladies. She's going to love it.

I just learned how to make a house and attic window. I love how you put them togehter. Great idea and your houses are adorable.
