    Thanks for all the wonderful advice! Here is the finished quilt top. We decided on the brown border rather than the blue one. I had to add some butterflies and some landscape by the Jack Russell… Somehow the quilt got too close to the iron and burned a few spots. I think it happened when I was measuring the outer borders. That has never happened to me before…. I wonder if it was all the starch on the muslin. Now to work on the quilt back..LOL

    It wonderful. The butterflies are a great touch.Now when she's off at college, she will still have the "girls" with her.

    That turned out great. The butterfly was a perfect touch. You would never guess it was to cover something. Great job.

    I used the butterfly with a little girl's quilt and thought.... Why Not... It might work. I was tempted to put a ladybug on the nose of Honey... :-P
