Hi gang - I just finished this one up! I did the piecing and had a long arm quilter do the quilting. It's queen sized, so there was no way I was going to tackle quilting her. She is pink and brown and green - all colors that are in my daughter's room. We are going out of town for the weekend to a family cabin and she's already there. So when she gets home, it will be a nice surprise on her bed!

You all are too kind. Most of the fabrics on the top are from "woodland bloom" - I fell in love with it in the store. When I was putting the quilt together, I felt like it was too busy, but overall, it came out nicely. Thanks for your compliments - it always feels so good to get nice feedback.

I'll try to snap a photo of her with it so you can see her pretty little mug too! (I think she and my son are my best "Projects" yet - all hand pieced too!!)

its lovely and i agree quilting a queen size quilt on a standard size machine is a struggle and the machine typically wins.
