    Thank you all....you know you all are giving me the "big head"! LOL....DH will knock it back down to size quickly though..so no worries.

    There have been some questions about the background. Here is the info for you....I think I bought 10 or 11 yrds. of the brown. It is a Moda from the Wildflower Seranade I collection. Here is a closer view of the background. I didn't use this brown as the background for any of the blocks, just the sashing, kite background, scallops (which are deeper than on the pattern) and the binding.

    wow! you did an amazing job on this quilt! The detail is fantastic! Love the trapunto! I have been working up to using some trapunto in my quilts...you inspire me!
