    it would be very interesting. i wonder what she had at hand considering it was a war and i'm sure she didn't have any money to spend on supplies or fabric.

    sometimes i think she made this quilt from her scrap bucket.

    so many of the pieces she used were just to make the block bigger, whereas if you had fabric on had you would just start with the larger shape.

    i've ordered kona at different times and, to my eye, i couldn't tell if it was a different dye lot or not.

    i think kona has really good quality controls in place and are very precise with dye mixes.

    i have been going through some old quilting board that I have saved. Could you tell me what is a "Dear Jane" quilt Any patterns or pictures ?

    If you put "Dear Jane" in the search box at the top of the page you'll find a weatlth of information on the Dear Jane quilt. Have fun looking!

    77 of us are all making this quilt together - we have a schedule that we started on 1st January this year, you can find it listed under Home, Block of the Month.
