We aren't starting until January! Perhaps by then you'll feel like you have room to spare for this labor of love...I hope so, the more the merrier - it will be fun to watch everyone's progress!

LOL. I wish, but I work full time and the two quilts I'm working on, I started last September. Not good. But I do want to keep up with this. Wonder how many are going to do it.

It won't be a swap, but rather a group quilt-a-long. Everyone will work on their own quilt, post pix, talk about challenges and how to's. KLue will lead and provide her wonderful wisdom!!

Klue the fabric you have looks scrumptious. The black background is really going to show off the red and white.

If I might add a wee thing to this conversation, please?

The software for DJ comes with the neatest feature!! It a grid that you can load up your quilt blocks, even the edge blocks, as you make them, one by one.
You can see at a glance how well you like the latest creative block you made....or not...replace it if you dislike it. It is like your Jane is unfolding before your eyes & you know exactly what it is going to look like as you progress.

I greatly enjoyed making the quilt. I learned a LOT from it, probably more than anything I have ever made. Some of my blocks are surely not my best work because I was still learning but the quilt is doable for anyone. The beautiful fabric was not as readily available then as it is now.

Good luck to all of you, I will enjoy watching your journeys in making these quilts.

    Riley

(Forgive me- I am an organizer nut!)
    Just start one!

Klue, I think those colors will make a striking quilt.
