Default My DGD Embroidery Gingerbread House, just starting

When my daughter was tracing these blocks for me she did an extra and my DGD- 11 years old took it, here's what she has done so far.

She's off to a great start! Her satin stitch looks very good. I found that difficult to get smooth looking for the longest time. It's so easy to let your threads twist.

Very nice job! I still use all the skills my grandmother taught me over the years. I am so thankful she started me early.
I am sure your granddaughter will also be thankful as she grows up.
