    Great minds think alike! When I first looked at the pic. I thought the same thing, looks just like those hot pads we used to make Moma, when we were kids. I love scrappy quilts and your hubby's are beautiful!

    Your husband is a wonderful quilter. I couldn't ever make those little squares it takes patents that I don't have. I think the yellow is a nice touch may be he would like to add more. That is an amazing quilt, keep up the good work .

    it looks like it has been woven (like the old time pot holders) to me. I gotta hand it to him, he certainly has a lot more sticktooitness than I have had recently. He did a great job.
