He did an outstanding job. I cannot believe he has made 10 quilts so far. I haven't even made that many, I am embarassed to say. He looks happy.

You are so lucky. My husband can't see the sense in cutting up big pieces of fabric in order to sew them together again. His sweet grandmother was a quilter all her life and she raised him. You would think he'd appreciate it more.

I am very glad that he has joined me in quilting. He used to just take pride in the ones I did. Now he takes pride in the ones that he does.

Congrats to you on having a DH that loves to quilt with you. My DH is OCD and my quilt room makes him hyperventilate. He once came in and told me I was putting a quilt block together the wrong way and if I did it his way it would be alot easier and he tore 3 of my blocks apart to show me what he meant. Let me tell you I hyperventilated!! We made a promise to each other I won't rearrange his garage and he won't touch my quilt blocks or quilt room!! He does however take me fabric shopping anytime I want and anywhere I want to go, he will walk around quilt shops for hours and hours with me, and we are getting ready to leave on a 5 day shop hop. He's a definite keeper even if he doesn't quilt with me.

I think that is just great, maybe you could get him a bobbin machine for his birthday. God bless.

That's so funny. Actually my DH is OCD too. Everything had to be just so so. that's why he is so diligent on his task. He's putting them out so much faster than I can. But, the only thing i do with my machines is borders and binding just about.
