We got to spend this Fall working outside of Boston and got to enjoy the beautiful New England fall. Inspired by the changing leaves (and the cold weather, lol) , I decided to make this simple quilt. I was inspired by the beautiful sunflower fabric and decided to do these varied double nine patch blocks in batiks to set the sunflowers. I loved the whole process of making this quilt from picking the fabrics to auditioning designs to my DH, to putting the final binding stitching. What fun! It ended up being about 55x75. And so glad I made it, as it turned cold really fast up here and now I am ready to head back home to FL
