    I'm confused about the "shadow" thing. Is this a preprinted panel that must be cut apart and then stitched back together? If this is the case, I am not sure I would cut it. The "shadow" adds another dimension which is appealing to me. It really sets off all of the pieces wonderfully.

    Please explain further. Thanks.

    The "shadow" is the seam allowance showing with the sunlight behind its.. No special effects. I like the shadow effect too but does not show up unless the sun is behind the quilt.
