This is the fabric (16 yeards of Moda shaded mottled fabric) and the pattern is on the cover of American Patchwork and Quilting for June 2007. It's called Modern Mix. My hope is to have it done by a year from Christmas. I think it will be "the quilt" of my life. The helper is Lucy, who either wants in or out the whole time I am trying to sew :lol:

Beautiful fabric. I love Lucy. I used to have a dog named Lucy, she was a white fuzzy mutt. I loved her so much. I can't wait :D to see this quilt

That's going to be one gorgeous quilt.
Now I need to go see if I can find the cover of that mag online.

I'm thinking Lucy likes the colors too. They will go REALLY nice with her
