Hi everybody! I got all the Main Focus strips cut last night and I cut the wedge strips today. I also went to the printers in town and now the pattern diagram is on one 11" x 17" sheet of paper. All I have to do now is sew the strips together, cut to the required sizes and see if it's the right amount of pieces for the quilt.

Here's the colors I'm using. As you can see, I had picked option #2 also! I'm sure glad that it's the same one everyone else picked! Thanks for looking!

Marilyn....LOVE those colours. Just beautiful. Can't wait to see the finished product. I am so jealous of these choices, wish they were mine. Carol

Hi everybody! I have made some of the strips of the 17 colors, started cutting them to size and sewing the rows. I laid out some of the strips to see how it is going to look.
I think I like the colors in this one even better than the last one! This one is going to be gorgeous I believe. Check out this picture. My camera doesn't do it justice though. In real life, the colors are sooo bright and vibrant! You can't see the vividness of the colors in the picture. I just love it already!

that is stunning - I will have to do a class when I see one, or maybe just get sewing and cutting instead of typing!

WOW, what a super interesting thread!!!!!!!! I have loved all the informative pictures along the process. This quilt is amazing!!!!!! I love the way you have not used symetry and it is abstract in a sense, this really appeals to me. Love the colour choices for the second quilt too!! Would love to make one but I think the skills needed are way beyond me!!
Thankyou for sharing all your hard work it is so much apprciated.
