I would also like to try a bargello someday. I love the colors that you are making yours with.

The colors are very dramatic :) nice.. I have no idea what a bargello is ... but guessing it is "a cloth of many colors" smiling.. I will keep looking for more details..

Bargello quilts are made to copy the needlepoint, bargello. There are all kinds of shapes/patterns you can do with them. Here are a few pictures of pretty ones that I found on the internet. These are just some of the ways you can design them.
    They are awesome.

Thank you brennalee. The pattern for my avatar is one that I made. It's called a Carpenter's Star. I made my daughter a beautiful quilt out of it. It was totally awesome, if I do say so myself. :o) Here is a link to pictures of her quilt.

I also made one called Dawn's quilt in warm colors. Here's a link to see it.

I had so many people asking about this pattern that I also posted the pattern for everyone to enjoy. Here is a link to the pattern. It is very simple to make, all squares and half square triangles.

Thank you for looking! Hope you like the pattern and if you make one, please post pictures so we can see!

Thank you everybody for all the interest in this project that I've got going. I sure hope it comes out alright! I have no idea what size it'll be. I went to sew one of the strips, the blue with little white dots, and since it was the end of the fabric that I had, only about half of the strip is the 2 1/2", then it tapers off.

I had a great idea yesterday though, since I'm afraid that I'm going to run out of fabrics. I'm thinking about changing the wedges colors. I think I might just make the wedges out of purples. That would make my other main colors last longer.

Here's a picture of the purples that I'm considering using, plus a blue that I don't know if I'll use or not. It's kind of blurry, sorry! Just thought that I'd keep you in the loop!
